What is Innerdance?

Innerdance is a form of healing, releasing, and letting go of trapped emotions and stress in the body through music. My role as a facilitator is to open the energetic field, hold it, and close it once the session ends. During the session, I provide support, accelerating the process of release and healing, activating different energy activation points, receiving and sending energy.

"Innerdance is a transformative self-awakening process that allows participants to experience themselves and the world as vibrating fields of energy. In this state of energetic awareness, one is able to experience a deeper release, self-healing, and transformation. It is an intuitive perception based on trance, triggered by a sound healing modality that works with shifting brainwave states."

The body is wise and releases only what is ready to be let go of at that moment. You may experience physical sensations (involuntary body movements, muscle spasms, sensations of cold, heat, muscle tightness, etc.), emotional (joy, sadness, tears, bursts of laughter, fear, screams, etc.), or visual (you may access childhood memories, past life regressions, see colors, geometric shapes, lights, etc.)

When you arrive, you will lie down on a yoga mat. We’ll start with a short meditation to relax the body and quiet the mind.

During the Innerdance session, your only task will be to lie back and allow the music to guide you on a sound journey that helps the body release everything that has become stuck and unexpressed. Physical touch is applied to support and guide the energy to flow freely. The music is usually very loud to help the mind disconnect and let the body enter into self-healing without needing to understand what’s happening (instruments and essential oils are also used).

After the session, we’ll sit down to talk about your experience. Everything is normal, and there’s no right or wrong way to experience it. What’s important is not to judge yourself and let the music lead you. You’re in a safe space with my support at all times.

It’s important to note that Innerdance is more of an energetic work than a purely physical one, so it might take a few days to feel the effects. Don’t be alarmed if sudden emotions or thoughts arise after the session, as this is completely normal. This is simply the gradual process of your body adjusting to the internal energetic shift.

I recently had the opportunity to participate in an InnerDance session during Dasha's certification retreat, and it was truly a safe and enriching experience. How should I get ready for the session?

It is recommended to avoid eating or drinking caffeine, alcohol, or anything sugary for three hours prior, and to stay hydrated.

How do I know that the Innerdance is working?

It is different for each person and can even vary between sessions, but it is common to experience various sensations in the body. Some people may have involuntary body movements, while others might feel the urge to make sounds, cry, laugh, or even fall asleep. All of this is normal.

Will we talk during the session?

Generally, it is practiced in silence, as the music is guiding you on a journey and having its effect. This allows you to fully focus on any sensations in your body and reconnect. However, there will be time to talk, share, and reflect after the session.

Why do I get sleepy or fall asleep during Innerdance?

During the session, your mind and body will be deeply relaxed as the music takes you into a REM sleep state. Just allow it to happen without overanalyzing it.

What should I bring?

Comfortable clothing, a yoga mat, a blanket and zero expectations!

Do I have to take off my clothes?

Nope! You will stay fully dressed and likely even be covered with a blanket for extra coziness!
